Springcharts EMR Your Practice. Your Way.

"SpringCharts EHR is the most affordable CCHIT CertifiedSM EHR on the market today. The demand for our solution is strong and continues to grow.”

“Spring Medical’s unprecedented growth is due to the fact that we offer an EHR solution for the substantial yet underserved market of small- and medium-sized medical practices. In fact, the physicians that designed SpringCharts remain users and investors in our company and intimately understand that smaller practices need affordable solutions with functionality that specifically addresses their needs, while enabling them to provide better patient care.”

-Jack Smyth,
CEO of SpringCharts EHR

SpringCharts EMR -- Your practice. Your way.

The Complete Electronic Medical Records Solution For Your Practice

SpringCharts EMR is software designed to manage all non-financial activities of a medical practice. SpringCharts combines a robust electronic medical record system with integrated appointments, messaging, reminder capabilities, and many other tools designed to speed and streamline medical documentation.

SpringCharts software is an intuitive, easy to learn and powerful tool. It has a scalable design that expands as your practice grows. Security is designed into the program and the data storage.

SpringCharts is written entirely in the Java programming language. It looks and runs the same on Windows 98, 2000, ME, and XP and Mac OS X.

SpringCharts has two levels of configuration. One level is for a practice that intends to operate on a single PC. The network option allows the SpringCharts EMR application to run in client / server mode allowing multiple PC clients to access practice information that is maintained on the SpringCharts Server.

Note: Some screen shots used on this page are taken from the Windows platform. Windows and Macintosh OS X screen shots use buttons and title bars appropriate for the platform, but are otherwise identical.

The Complete EMR Solution For Independent Practices
SpringCharts Delivers Immediate and Measurable Benefits to Physicians and their Staffs:

The Practical Doctor
''My desire to practice medicine is selfish, actually,'' reflects Dr. Michael Marlow of The Woodlands, Texas. ''When I was thirteen, an automobile accident sent me to a hospital for ten days with a serious fracture. I remember how warmly I felt towards the folks that took care of me. I decided, somewhere along the way, that I wanted people to feel that way about me. I wanted to play that role in other people's lives — not only helping them physically, but helping them emotionally — as healer, advisor, consultant, friend.''

Though he majored in English literature as an undergraduate, that formative experience eventually lured him to medical school — and the recent establishment of his own family practice, with a sideline in emergency medicine. ''But my passions for science and the humanities have always co-existed,'' he says — and provided fuel for both fulfillment and frustration as a doctor. ''It's very rewarding for me to use my training and my humanitarian interests to help people. It’s worth all the headaches, all the ongoing hassle. But yes, there’s a lot of bureaucracy, a lot of paperwork.''

Like a growing number of small practitioners around the country, Dr. Marlow has found a cure for that complexity — in the intuitive ease of Macintosh technology. ''If you look at what doctors really use a computer for, Macs can do it all. But, unlike the Windows systems so prevalent in my profession, it does it in a very elegant and enjoyable fashion.

''In a nutshell, the Mac empowers me to be more the type of physician that I want to be. A physician who focuses on his patients, not on all the other necessary work that goes along with their visits.''
